- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Macon is our lab mix, she's almost 5yrs old, weighs about 105 lbs and has been going to Gretna Vet Clinic since she was 8 wks old... when I accidentally ran over her in our driveway. It was late in the evening and Dr Hook was the ONLY dr in the area and Roanoke that would see her. He saved her life. Long story short we have been going there ever since. We board her there and she gets excellent care. The staff there is unbelievable and Macon LOVES to go see them and they all seem to love her. She gets so excited if we say " you want to go see Dr Hook" Now how many dogs love to go to the vet! I can't praise them enough. Never would I use another vet clinic. In fact ....I would go a little further and say... If ever we have to put Macon down( and I hope that is NO TIME SOON) we would definitely take her to Gretna Vet Clinic where she would feel safe and loved...and not fear.September 21, 2017by Jeannie Smith
